Thank you for your participation in this library display!
Any public library in Canada is eligible to compete in the contest. The rules are very simple – make a display showcasing the 2016 Lane Anderson Award Shortlist. The goal is to spread awareness of great Canadian science books that are accessible to people with non-science backgrounds.
To enter into the contest, simply take a picture of your library’s display(s) and send it via twitter with the library name and the handle #LAAdisplay to @thelaneanderson
Alternatively libraries without Twitter may submit photos of their display to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Displays will be judged by three criteria: creativity, readability, and overall appeal of the display in the library. The winner will receive a set of this year’s shortlist!
Guide for Making the Display
To help with the task of decorating, you may request a limited number of paper posters for the library, or you may print out an unlimited supply of the digital poster (available at http://laneandersonaward.ca/library-contest/ or by request at email@example.com).
