Lane Anderson Award Library Display Contest

Thank you for your participation in this library display!

Rules

Any public library in Canada is eligible to compete in the contest.  The rules are very simple – make a display showcasing the 2019-2020 Lane Anderson Award Shortlist. The goal is to spread awareness of great Canadian science books that are accessible to people with non-science backgrounds.

To enter into the contest, simply take a picture of your library’s display(s) and send it via twitter with the library name and the handle #LAAdisplay to @thelaneanderson
Alternatively libraries without Twitter may submit photos of their display to laneandersonaward@gmail.com.

Winning

Displays will be judged by three criteria: creativity, readability, and overall appeal of the display in the library. The winner will receive a set of this year’s shortlist!

Guide for Making the Display

To help with the task of decorating, you may request a limited number of paper posters for the library, or you may print out an unlimited supply of the digital poster (available at http://laneandersonaward.ca/library-contest/ or by request at laneandersonaward@gmail.com).

Any questions can be directed to laneandersonaward@gmail.com.
