Want to win either the 2024 adult or young reader shortlisted books? Here’s your chance!
How to Enter:
Take a photo of one of the 2024 shortlisted books in the wild – it could be at your favourite bookstore, your local library… under a tree at the park. Use your imagination!
Enter by posting your shortlist selfie on Twitter or Instagram. Make sure to tag our official account in your post (Twitter: @thelaneanderson or Instagram: @thelaneandersonaward) as well as the hashtag #laneandersonaward.

Enter by emailing your shortlist selfie to us at laneandersonaward@gmail.com with the subject line: Shortlist Selfie Contest.
Prize:
Two winners will be selected at random. The prize you are entered to win is determined by the book you include in your post. For example if your post includes one of the adult shortlisted books you will be entered for a chance to win one (1) copy of each of the 2024 adult shortlisted books. See below for a detailed description of the two (2) prizes.
One (1) winner will receive one (1) copy of each of the 2024 adult shortlisted books – The Autumn Ghost, Fire Weather, and Message in a Bottle.
One (1) winner will receive one (1) copy of each of the young reader shortlisted books – Bompa’s Insect Expedition, Operation Cupcake, and Polar.

The contest runs from 12:01 am EST October 7th to 11:59 pm EST November 7th. Open to Canadian residents only. One entry per person.
